　　原本姑且算作女强人的照川祥子（尾野真千子 饰），其所经营的婚介公司倒闭，从而背上了一身债务。她绝望地来到巴厘岛，试图寻找一个安静了断的角落。关键时刻，她被日本男子阿龙（玉木宏 饰）叫停，并随之见到了作风粗鲁、面相凶恶的“大哥”（堤真一 饰）。经查询后发现，这位大哥竟然是在当地坐拥30多家企业的大富翁。虽然一度看不起大哥的做派，不过祥子还是低下头向对方学习“拥有成功人生”的方法。怎奈对方所教的似乎都是一些精神胜利法般的励志话语，雪上加霜的是迷恋她的男子杉田（中村直人 饰）也尾随来到巴厘岛。祥子还能否抓住光明的未来？
　　
　　本片根据真人真事改编，大哥原型名叫丸尾孝俊。他当过暴走族、当过学徒、加入过吉本兴业，开过卡车。28岁带着仅有的18万日元远赴巴厘岛，现拥有不动产公司数十家，收养170名孤儿，同时兼任演员。
