One day, he decides to go to a Paul McCartney concert at Tokyo Dome with his fellow Beatlemaniac, Takafumi Hirayama. After Poolsideman, which won the Japanese Cinema Splash Award at the 2016 TIFF and was critically acclaimed at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival and other festivals, the Watanabe brothers have become one of the world’s most-watched Japanese filmmakers.
