　　安妮（蓓蒂·赫顿 Betty Hutton 饰）是个性格大大咧咧的假小子，在一场射击比赛中她夺得头筹，于是受邀加入了《狂野西部》的演出队伍中，在这里，安妮邂逅了名为弗兰克（霍华德·基尔 Howard Keel 饰）的男子，随着时间的推移，安妮渐渐的爱上了弗兰克。然而，弗兰克喜欢的是那种长发穿裙子极富女人味的类型，安妮的形象和个性显然和弗兰克的理想型背道而驰。
