◎简　　介

　　伯纳德（达斯汀·霍夫曼 Dustin Hoffman 饰）和薇薇安（莉莉·汤普琳 Lily Tomlin 饰）是一对感情十分要好的夫妻，两人经营着一家私人侦探所，专门帮助人们解决生活里遇到的各种难题。作为他们的客户，艾伯特（詹森·舒瓦兹曼 Jason Schwartzman 饰）的处境显然不容乐观，仿佛是在一瞬间，他发现生命中的一切都偏离了他的掌控，朝着未知的方向迅速发展开去，与此同时，他的死对头布莱德（裘德·洛 Jude Law 饰）似乎正春风得意。
