《出局：禁止接触》法国新浪潮大师雅克·里维特的罕见作品（据里维特解释，Out的意思是不合时宜的意思，相对In），以其长度（原始版即有13小时之长）而闻名于世。由于其超长的长度，法国广播电视局拒绝了其播放，其后在1974年里维特自己重新剪辑了一个4小时20分浓缩版《幽灵》（意指短版为长版之影子幽灵）浓缩于1974年才得以在巴黎公映。但由于历来公映范围很小，所以能得睹其真面目的影迷少之又少。影片根据巴尔扎克小说《十三人的故事》改编，时间则搬在1968年法国五月革命之后，法国社会气氛一片萎靡。
