◎简　　介

　　描述战争前后的农家女松木苦难而悲惨的一生，影片开始写由于松木的婚姻不幸，而沦为妓女的过程。最后描述她的后半身是为召集女孩卖春而过的，经过种种，她还是朝这个方向前进。当一支昆虫在心中立定了方向之后，就不改变地朝着目标前进。在本片中有两个角色就像昆虫一样，一个是松木的父亲忠次，一个是左幸子饰演的松木。导演今村昌平对出生在东北的松木，除了描写她的半生外，对女性的性亦作特别的处理。观众看到的是露骨而不猥亵的床戏，今村成功地将性非常认真地表现出来。
